Beautiful and very private bush setting with mature nikau palms and pohutakawas. Ideal for relaxing, beachgoing and Waitakere walks. A level walk of approx. 200 metres takes you from the property to the main Piha beach. The path up through the bush section to the bach has 42 steps and may not suit you if you are infirm or need to carry an unusually large amount of gear up to the bach. Dogs are welcome outside. Pets allowed. Pet friendly. This is a true Kiwi bach and you may need to use the outside long-drop toilet when water supplies are low. There is now some TV reception in this part of Piha but quality is not great. We do provide a video player, or you can plug in your own DVD player
